Welcome to Lanka Grid Taxi & Tours. By creating an account, booking a taxi, or reserving a tour through our platform, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Customer Information

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information, including:

• Full Name
• WhatsApp or Mobile Number
• Country

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and current.

3. Booking Information

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all booking details, including pickup location, destination, date, time, passenger count, and luggage information, are accurate before confirming a booking.

4. Booking for Another Passenger

You may make a booking on behalf of another passenger. In such cases, you are responsible for providing accurate passenger details. The booking will remain under your customer account.

5. Pricing

All displayed fares are estimates based on the information provided during booking and the pricing rules configured by Lanka Grid Taxi & Tours. Additional charges may apply for circumstances such as:

• Waiting time
• Additional stops
• Route changes requested by the customer
• Toll fees
• Parking fees
• Government taxes (if applicable)
• Other agreed additional services

Any additional charges will be communicated where reasonably possible.

6. Payments

Payment may be made using any payment methods offered on the platform. Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment when advance payment is required.

7. Cancellations

Customers may cancel bookings subject to the company's cancellation policy. Refund eligibility, if applicable, will depend on the time of cancellation and the payment method used. Lanka Grid Taxi & Tours reserves the right to deduct applicable administrative or cancellation charges.

8. Delays

While we strive to provide timely services, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including traffic congestion, road closures, weather conditions, vehicle breakdowns, government restrictions, accidents, and force majeure events. We will make every reasonable effort to minimize delays.

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Treat drivers with respect.
• Follow Sri Lankan laws and regulations.
• Avoid carrying prohibited or illegal items.
• Avoid causing damage to company vehicles.
• Maintain appropriate behavior during the journey.

The company reserves the right to refuse service in cases of abusive, dangerous, or unlawful behavior.

10. Tours

Tour itineraries are provided for guidance and may be adjusted due to weather, traffic, road conditions, government regulations, or operational requirements. Reasonable changes may be made without prior notice when necessary for safety or operational reasons.

11. Luggage

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their luggage fits within the selected vehicle's capacity. Lanka Grid Taxi & Tours is not responsible for personal belongings left inside vehicles after the completion of a trip.

12. Driver Assignment

The company reserves the right to assign or replace vehicles and drivers whenever necessary to ensure smooth operations. Equivalent or better vehicles may be provided where required.

13. Account Security

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and all activities carried out under their account.

14. Privacy

Personal information collected through this platform will be used solely for providing transportation and tour services, customer support, booking management, and service improvements. We do not sell customer information to third parties.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lanka Grid Taxi & Tours shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our services. Our liability is limited to the value of the booking where required by applicable law.

16. Changes to Bookings

Requests to modify bookings are subject to vehicle availability and operational feasibility. Additional charges may apply for changes.

17. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel bookings where false information is provided, fraudulent activity is suspected, illegal activities are involved, or customer behavior threatens the safety of drivers or other passengers.

18. Changes to These Terms

Lanka Grid Taxi & Tours may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions become effective immediately upon publication on our website.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
